You may already know kate and nathan, the lovely team behind tea & jam and one half of MAEVE magazine or you might remember them from this post alongside their two cute little girls from last time I was in Melbourne. This long weekend I made a trip to Ballarat to visit and go on some fun adventures.

The weekend went something like this:

drink tea, go op shopping, escape from creepy op shop twins, eat yummy vegetarian food, run in the rain, Alice in Wonderland, Begonia fesitival, pat pretty deer, picnic, storm, drink tea, veg on couch, giggle, american idol, mini golf, more op shopping, country drive, tell cute puppy ‘no’ x 100, bath cute baby, yummy food, drink tea, veg on couch with blankets, giggle.

drink tea, yabbie festival, neverending merry go round, bad country music, disappointing yabbie races, fun anyway, 10c old people church cookies, cute historic town, yummy food, another cute town, olives and coffee.

girls decide white brick wall is needed, five minute family session (they are so cute, right?!)

eat yummy homemade pizza, heart cookies, drink tea, veg on couch with blankets, giggle.

this morning we dressed the babies up with visions of pretty photos dancing in our heads. they, however, had other plans – there was exploring to be done, and apparently not enough time to stop for any stinkin’ pictures. do you like the tree growing out of clovers head in the last one? that is me taking what I can get. but hey, look at that cute outfit!

then this afternoon, after dribbling cantalopue over her beautiful outfit, Clover had a quick change and we had another go at snapping some photos. Although she can be a little grub and will be leading the boys, not just keeping up with them, Clover is such a girly girl at heart. She loves everything pretty and pink and sparkly.

i love these babies.

while they may have more important plans than taking pictures, as long as they can fit in a quick cuddle on the fly, I am happy.

Lucky they are so cute in their PJs, because it looks like this is becoming a trend. Next time I post they will be dressed, gotta mix things up a bit!

life with 19 month old twins is nothing short of crazy, but so much fun at the same time. how so much personality can fit into such tiny people, I will never know. I do know that they have me wrapped around their tiny chubby little fingers. they always have.

If you thought Clover was a baby, you were sorely mistaken. She is, in fact, a tiny, wobbly stunt person. No fall, bang or crash will phase this little daredevil. And believe me, she has plenty of those.
