last night…

… the beach called. and we were glad we listened.

he had so much fun running around gathering beach treasure and marking his spot over and over with his name, and I had as much fun watching his adventure unfold in the crazy, crazy light. next time we must remember to bring a hotwheels car though, he said. I can’t wait.

where these shot with a 35mm lens? i only ask because i had one and it did that weird flare thing in the first two pics. it drove me nuts.. beautiful images!

nope, they were shot with the cheapie 50mm 1.8. The weird flare isn’t ideal, but I didn’t mind it too much there

no i agree it looks good in the above images. i had the samyang 35mm and even though it was SUPER sharp and near perfect it’s flare was AWFUL and way worse and more obvious than what your 50mm is showing.

I love the flare!! These images are incredible, Peta! Further proves that it is the photographer behind the camera versus the lens you use to take the images.
