Yesterday we explored the museum, it’s crazy to me that the twins are big enough to be little museum going people now! Kieran was there too, but with them being such busy, independent toddlers, it is easier when they are on foot just to take charge of one each. Although I suspect maybe it is them taking charge of us!

The twins had a grand ol’ time running in and out of the little alleys between the bathing boxes at the beach this chilly autumn afternoon

I like to call that one on the right “camouflage at the beach”
Clover was there too, but she is on photo strike. Far too busy for photos.

remember this cute lady? That is my friend Kate. And she is a super talented, clever person. She has put many many long nights into designing and putting together this fabulous new online magazine, MAEVE. It is full of beautiful things and interesting, smart reads. And at long last, the launch is today! Kate, you should be proud. I am!
Rachel and I have a fashion spread in there that was so.much.fun to shoot and edit. So much fun. It was really great to step outside of our comfort zones and do something a bit kooky! The models rocked it, each of them were perfect for the shots we needed. You can see the shoot in it’s entirety over at MAEVE, but here’s a little sneak peek
The final page is also a shot of mine, which was a sweet surprise!
Grab yourself a cup of tea and head over there!

if they could go anywhere in the world, it would be for a stroll around the neighborhood (preferably with a stop at the playground, but they were out of luck today) but if they had their way, the cameras would most definitely not be along for the trip.

are tough customers. they are blimmen cute, but they have had 2 cameras in their face for much of their little lives from day one, they fall for no trick, and they are fast! but did I mention they are cute??

when we found this patch of tiny clovers we tried to get the tiny clover to lay down in it for some photos… she thought that was a silly idea.

Isn’t he such a lovely boy?

You may already know kate and nathan, the lovely team behind tea & jam and one half of MAEVE magazine or you might remember them from this post alongside their two cute little girls from last time I was in Melbourne. This long weekend I made a trip to Ballarat to visit and go on some fun adventures.
The weekend went something like this:
drink tea, go op shopping, escape from creepy op shop twins, eat yummy vegetarian food, run in the rain, Alice in Wonderland, Begonia fesitival, pat pretty deer, picnic, storm, drink tea, veg on couch, giggle, american idol, mini golf, more op shopping, country drive, tell cute puppy ‘no’ x 100, bath cute baby, yummy food, drink tea, veg on couch with blankets, giggle.

drink tea, yabbie festival, neverending merry go round, bad country music, disappointing yabbie races, fun anyway, 10c old people church cookies, cute historic town, yummy food, another cute town, olives and coffee.
girls decide white brick wall is needed, five minute family session (they are so cute, right?!)

eat yummy homemade pizza, heart cookies, drink tea, veg on couch with blankets, giggle.
thank you kate, nathan and girls. it was lovely xo

Photo info is all over the place, but if you want to know the tech info for a specific shot, let me know!
